How to Use

On behalf of the Oral Health and Aboriginal Child forum, the Institute for Circumpolar Health Research in Yellowknife has developed an electronic repository system to house the materials that are being collected to sustain the initiative.

While many of the original resources and links aggregated for the forum are listed in the individual country pages under the main navigation bar, the website search allows readers to browse an additional array of catalogued items stored locally or linked to external sites.

This search mechanism has the following features:

  • keyword search
Search titles, abstracts, authors, etc. The search field can be found on the right-hand side of the navigation bar.
  • taxonomy lists
List items by country, item type, author, and year. Two pull-down menus for country and kind can be found in the sidebar. Other lists can be generated by clicking the linked text within an item listing.
  • reference options
Easily download references for each item in the most popular biomedical, BibTeX, and RIS formats. Buttons are provided at the bottom of an item listing.
  • clipboard
Items can be clipped to a clipboard for later retrieval. The clipboard allows clipped references to be downloaded all at once. A clip/unclip button can be found at the top-right corner of an abbreviated or full item listing. To reach the clipboard, click on the button at the top of the sidebar.

Many thanks to Aaron Yaffe, summer student at the Manitoba Institute for Child Health for preparing the references.
